Rory goes first and lays back with an iron. Tiger does the same. Thomas rips the big dog and it settles just left of the green in a pretty good spot to pitch from. The tees are up on 11 and the par-4 is playing 297 yards with a lake on the right. The group is going to let the green clear so expect to see some drivers here.
From the juicy stuff Woods takes a hack and finds the front of the green. Only problem? The pin is tucked waaaaaay in the back. This putt will be — wait for it — 98 feet 11 inches. Or as I call it: a half-wedge shot. Stay tuned. Woods with a driver off the tee and he over-cuts it into the right rough.
Woodland comes up 10-12 feet short with his long eagle putt at 17. Fowler sticks his approach at 18. Koepka hits a great second shot at 17 to about 18 feet. He’ll have that for an eagle to grow his lead.
