Woods with an 8-iron from the fairway…and it’s safely on the center of the green. Maybe 20 feet for birdie. Meanwhile McIlroy is dragging along at -1 and flies the green with an iron. He’s looking a little dicey along that cutline which is still even par.
Back on 10 Tiger with another flip wedge..and it settles about 8 feet below the hole. He’ll have that for par. Woodland for birdie on 6 hits the lip but stays out. Koepka and Kisner both saved their pars.
Woods from 9 feet for bogey .. and he drains it. Bogey for Tiger bogey for Rory par for Thomas. On to 11. Woods for par…and he starts walking after it as soon as he hit. Comes up well short. That’s left for bogey. This is messy start for Tiger. Meanwhile McIlroy misses his par and taps for bogey.
Koepka hits a nice chip and gets up-and-down but that’s back-to-back bogeys for our leader. He drops to -11. After taking a penalty stroke and a drop Koepka hits his third shot at the par-4 15th over the green into rough. He’s going to have work hard just to make bogey.
On the par-3 13th Woods rips an iron to the back of the green another solid solid shot. Looks like about 15 feet for birdie from there. Koepka drops the putt to reclaim the solo lead at -12 one ahead of Woodland.
