Rory and JT find the green and JT will have a good look at birdie. Tiger will play next looking to bump it close. Tiger’s drive: 303 yards. He plays first into this green from 204 yards…and it comes up just short of the green. It stayed out of the bunker so it should be a straight-forward pitch from there.
Tiger’s second from the deep rough comes out soft and short and it might’ve dropped in a pond. A bad start gets worse. All three guys hit less than driver off the tee and Tiger misses the fairway left. Back to the deep stuff.
Same goes for Koepka. he misses his shorter birdie putt at the last. Woodland’s birdie putt sneaks by the left side. He’ll have a short one for par. Koepka and Woodland both reach the 18th green with their second shots. Fowler just can’t make a birdie putt drop. He settles for par at 18 to finish at -9.
